Create design onlineAbout Rising Fire® Columnar American Hornbeam
Rising Fire is a vigorous, columnar selection of the native American hornbeam, reaching thirty feet in height with a narrow fifteen-foot spread. It features a tight, upright habit with ascending branches and muscled gray bark. The dark green summer foliage transforms into a brilliant display of orange and red in the fall. Highly adaptable and urban-tolerant, it thrives in full sun to full shade and moist soil, making it an excellent choice for street plantings or tight garden spaces.
