*Cora® XDR Apricot* is a seed-grown F1 selection of *Catharanthus roseus* in Syngenta Flowers' Cora XDR series (SKU 70076526). The breeder lists this upright annual for full sun, with flowers from mid-spring through summer.
## Form and flowering
Syngenta's [exact product listing](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70076526) gives a garden height and spread of 12–16 inches. Its [Cora XDR culture guide](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/sites/g/files/kgtney846/files/migration/f/culture_seed_vinca_coraxdr_0.pdf) gives broader series planning dimensions of 14–16 inches tall and 18–20 inches wide, so allow room for growing conditions and production differences. The series is screened against several Phytophthora strains, but plants are not immune.
## Siting and use
Use it in sunny packs, patio pots, or landscape beds with free-draining soil. The [University of Florida IFAS profile](https://ask.ifas.ufl.edu/publication/FP112) recommends well-drained soil and reducing irrigation after establishment; overwatering can contribute to root and stem disease. Syngenta lists this selection for USDA zone 11 and as an annual.
## Maintenance
Water to establish, then let the growing medium dry somewhat between irrigations. In frost-prone climates, treat it as a warm-season annual and replace it after cold weather.
