Mediterranean XP Strawberry Vinca

Mediterranean XP Strawberry is a pink-flowered, spreading annual vinca selected for summer color in baskets and containers. Its low, trailing growth can cover the edge of a pot or basket while the plant flowers from late spring into summer in full sun. [Ball Seed lists the PAS553552 selection at 4–6 inches tall and 20–30 inches wide.](https://info.ballseed.com/PlantInfo/?phid=063705371005325) ## Site and Growth Set plants in a sunny site and allow room for the spreading stems. The series is described as mounded, spreading, and trailing, making it useful where growth can spill over a container edge. ## Water and Care The grower information describes light water needs and low maintenance. It also reports heat and drought tolerance and notes attraction to bees and butterflies. ## Maintenance Water during establishment and check containers regularly in hot weather; container mix dries faster than garden soil. Apply fertilizer according to the product label and local growing conditions.
