Pacifica XP Burgundy Vinca is an upright, mounded annual vinca in the Pacifica XP series, selected for a full display of flowers through the warm season. Its burgundy flowers give massed beds and containers a strong warm color block. The breeder lists plants at approximately 10–14 inches tall and 6–8 inches wide, with full-sun exposure. ## Landscape Use
Use this heat-loving bedding plant in sunny borders, mass plantings, and containers. Annual vinca is also used as edging and ground cover; provide well-drained soil and avoid persistently wet conditions. [N.C. ## Growing Conditions
The Pacifica XP breeder describes a mounded, upright habit and flowering from late spring through summer. The series is suited to hot, sunny sites. N.C. State Extension notes that modern hybrids need little pinching or deadheading; local winter temperatures determine whether plants persist or are grown as annuals.
## Maintenance
Plant after frost in a sunny location with well-drained soil. Water during establishment and extended dry spells, while allowing excess water to drain. Remove damaged growth as needed; routine deadheading is generally unnecessary for modern hybrids.
