Pacifica XP Polka Dot is a compact annual vinca with white petals and a contrasting red eye. The breeder lists a 10–14 inch height, 6–8 inch spread, and late-spring-to-summer bloom, with mounded, upright growth. ([PanAmerican Seed](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/063705391004243/vinca-pacifica-xp-polka-dot/); [SiteOne exact selection listing](https://www.siteone.com/en/85370b-catharanthus-roseus-pacifica-xp-polka-dot-vinca/p/936513))
## Garden Use
The patterned flower is useful as a bright detail in sunny borders, massed bedding, and containers. Pacifica XP plants are bred for a uniform upright habit and a rounded, well-branched canopy, so the selection can also repeat cleanly along an edge. ## Growing Conditions
Plant in full sun and well-drained soil once the ground has warmed in spring. Annual vinca performs well in heat, but cold, wet planting conditions should be avoided. Catharanthus roseus can persist as a tender perennial in frost-free climates; it is grown as an annual in colder areas. ## Maintenance
Modern hybrids generally do not need pinching or deadheading. Let excess irrigation drain away and water at the root zone when needed. Remove spent plants after frost where winters are cold.
