SunStorm® Rose With Eye Catharanthus

SunStorm® Rose With Eye is a mounding annual vinca with pink-to-rose flowers and a compact, well-branched habit. Syngenta lists the exact product as a full-sun, heat-loving Catharanthus that flowers from mid-spring into summer. The breeder identifies it by product code 70001129. ## Flowers and placement The [Syngenta product profile](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70001129) reports an 8–10 inch garden height and 10–12 inch width, with flowering in mid-spring, late spring, and summer. It lists the flower color as Pink/Rose. A [Colorado State University trial](https://spl.cde.state.co.us/artemis/ucsuserials/ucsu53010internet/ucsu530102014internet.pdf) also records this exact SunStorm selection as pink. Its compact size suits sunny annual beds, edging, and small patio containers. ## Maintenance Grow it as a seasonal annual in climates colder than the listed hardiness range. Syngenta describes SunStorm plants as naturally free-flowering and well-branched, with little-to-no growth regulator needed in production; the profile does not prescribe a specific home-garden pruning or irrigation routine.
