Titan™ Burgundy Vinca

Titan™ Burgundy is an F1 upright vinca selection in the Titan series. Its named Burgundy flowers are carried on mounded, branching plants that bloom from late spring into summer and are suited to sunny landscape beds and containers. ## Size and placement PanAmerican Seed lists the selection at 14–16 inches high and 10–12 inches wide, with an 8-inch spacing recommendation. The existing live size ranges agree with the breeder’s information. The product page lists mounded and upright growth, full sun exposure, and landscape and container use. ## Growing conditions The breeder says Titan vincas tolerate heat and drought better than open-pollinated types. The [University of Florida IFAS profile](https://ask.ifas.ufl.edu/publication/fp112) describes species-level care for Madagascar periwinkle: full sun favors heavier flowering, well-drained soil is important, and overwatering can contribute to root rot. Those general points are not cultivar-specific measurements, so adapt watering to rainfall, soil drainage, and whether the plant is in a pot. ## Maintenance Plant in a sunny location with free-draining soil. Water as needed while plants establish, then avoid frequent saturation; container plants may dry more quickly than plants in beds.
