About Titan™ Cranberry Vinca

Titan™ Cranberry is an F1 upright vinca selection with rich, dark red flowers and a lighter center. The branching plants flower from late spring through summer and bring a saturated focal color to sunny landscape beds and containers. ## Size and placement PanAmerican Seed lists Titan Cranberry at 14–16 inches tall and 10–12 inches wide, with an 8-inch spacing recommendation. Its product page describes a mounded, upright habit and notes that this selection reaches the taller end of the series range, about 16 inches. The live record’s size ranges align with the breeder information. ## Growing conditions The breeder lists full sun and says Titan vincas tolerate heat and drought better than open-pollinated types. The [University of Florida IFAS profile](https://ask.ifas.ufl.edu/publication/fp112) provides species-level advice for Madagascar periwinkle: well-drained soil is important, full sun supports heavier flowering, and excess irrigation can cause root problems. Apply those general recommendations to local weather and drainage rather than treating them as fixed cultivar-specific requirements. ## Maintenance Plant in a sunny, well-drained position and water while establishing. Thereafter, avoid overwatering; monitor pots in hot weather because container soil can dry faster than a garden bed.
