About Titan-ium™ White Vinca

Titan-ium™ White is a named F1 annual vinca selection from PanAmerican Seed. The breeder lists a mounded, upright habit, late-spring through late-summer flowering, and a mature size of 14–16 inches tall by 10–12 inches wide. ## Selection and size The [PanAmerican Seed product profile](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/063709995005863/vinca-titan-ium-white/) identifies the exact selection as PAS1527177 and lists its habit, flowering period, sun exposure, and dimensions. The [2025 Titan-ium catalog](https://catalog.panamseed.com/view/811944704/18/) describes the F1 series’ fast flowering, branching, large flowers, and tight flowering window; it also says resistance applies only to some aerial Phytophthora strains, not immunity. The breeder identifies White as the most vigorous member of the Titan-ium series. ## Siting Use in a sunny bed or container with room for a plant about 10–12 inches wide. The [North Carolina Extension species profile](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/catharanthus-roseus/common-name/annual-vinca/) recommends moist, well-drained soil and notes that Catharanthus roseus is usually grown as an annual in colder climates. These are species-care recommendations; cultivar performance still depends on local weather and drainage. ## Maintenance Water to keep the root zone from drying during establishment while maintaining good drainage. North Carolina Extension notes that modern Catharanthus hybrids generally do not need pinching or deadheading. Remove plants after frost where they are not winter-hardy.
