‘Glauca Pendula’ is a weeping form of Atlas cedar (*Cedrus atlantica*) with powdery blue-green evergreen needles. It can be trained upward on a support or allowed to spread close to the ground, so its outline depends on how it is trained. ## Form and placement Published dimensions vary with training. The Royal Horticultural Society gives a mature height of 4–8 metres and spread of 1.5–2.5 metres; Virginia Cooperative Extension describes a trained plant about 10 feet tall and an unstaked plant that may spread about 50 feet over time. The RHS lists several soil textures and describes the foliage as evergreen and blue-green. Virginia Cooperative Extension lists Atlas cedar for USDA zones 6–9 and notes that the cultivar's height and width depend on staking and training. ## Maintenance Stake and train the leader while the tree is young if you want an upright form. Otherwise, give the spreading branches ample room. Water during establishment and avoid waterlogged ground; the RHS says routine pruning is unnecessary.
