Create design onlineAbout Green Knight Lebanon Cedar
Green Knight is a named miniature selection of Lebanon cedar, Cedrus libani, with dark green needles and a stout trunk. Cornell records about 1 by 1 foot and Trees and Shrubs Online about 30 by 30 centimeters after ten years; these are not stated mature maxima ([Cornell](https://woodyplants.cals.cornell.edu/cultivar/1859); [Trees and Shrubs Online](https://www.treesandshrubsonline.org/articles/cedrus/cedrus-libani/)). Kigi Nursery lists it for bonsai, full sun, and USDA zone 6 as its minimum hardiness ([Kigi Nursery](https://kiginursery.com/dwarf-miniatures/cedrus-libani-green-knight-miniature-cedar-of-lebanon/)).
## Siting
Use it as a small evergreen accent where its compact, sculptural form can be seen at close range, or grow it as a bonsai subject. Allow room for future growth rather than treating the ten-year dimensions as a final limit. Choose a sunny site and provide drainage appropriate for a cedar.
## Maintenance
Water during establishment and check soil moisture before watering established plants. If trained as bonsai, shape it gradually according to the desired form.
