Create design onlineAbout Pendula Weeping Lebanon Cedar
Pendula is a very slow-growing, evergreen cedar with long branches that drape and spread around a central trunk. This form of Cedar of Lebanon brings blue-green needle texture and a sculptural outline to a sunny planting where its mature spread can be accommodated.
## Form and Placement
Urban Tree Farm describes a loose pyramidal shape when young that becomes flatter and broader as long branches extend. It lists an approximate mature range of 3–12 feet in both height and width; training and shaping can change the outline. Allow room for the tree to spread and use its form as a specimen rather than crowding it against a path or building.
## Growing Conditions
Give the plant full sun. The nursery describes moderate water needs once established. Keep moisture available while a new planting establishes, then adjust watering to local rainfall, soil drainage, and summer conditions.
## Maintenance
Prune selectively when needed to guide the branches and maintain the desired outline. The plant can be trained in different ways, but its slow growth means changes develop gradually. See [Urban Tree Farm Nursery’s Pendula profile](https://www.urbantreefarm.com/product/cedrus-libani-pendula/) for the cultivar name, dimensions, exposure, and care notes.
