Gekko Green Celosia Foliage, Sol™

Gekko Green is a foliage celosia in the Sol™ collection, selected for upright plants with green and burgundy bicolor leaves. Ball Seed lists it as *Celosia argentea* and gives a mature size of about 10–14 inches tall by 10–16 inches wide. ## Foliage and Placement The colorful leaves make this compact selection useful for containers, patios, and the front of a sunny border. Ball reports that leaf color becomes more intense under higher light and that plants kept outdoors can develop stronger burgundy tones. Its upright habit gives a planted group a clear vertical accent. ## Growing Conditions Grow in sun and provide medium water. Ball lists a 45°F hardiness degree, so protect the plant from cold and use it as a warm-season annual in climates with frost. The listed mature dimensions are approximate; allow room for neighboring plants and airflow. ## Maintenance Keep watering even while the plant is actively growing, without leaving the pot or bed waterlogged.
