Create design onlineAbout Neo™ Rose Celosia
Neo™ Rose is an upright crested celosia with rose-colored combs and a taller habit within the Neo series. PanAmerican Seed identifies the selection as Celosia cristata ‘Celbofirosa’, lists 28–40-inch stems, and notes larger rose-colored flower heads and spring-through-summer flowering. [The breeder’s Neo Rose profile](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/166302920004669/celosia-neo-rose/) gives the exact selection details and describes its use for cut-flower production.
## Garden Use
Use this tall annual toward the back of a sunny border or grow several together for a strong vertical band of rose color. The substantial combs and upright stems also suit cutting gardens and fresh arrangements. Its mature height range crosses three feet, so place it where it will not shade shorter neighboring plants.
## Siting and Care
Set plants out after frost danger has passed in full sun and well-drained soil. Celosia tolerates a range of soils but performs poorly in heavy clay or waterlogged ground. Water consistently enough to keep growth from wilting, while allowing the soil to drain between watering. [North Carolina Extension’s celosia guide](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/celosia/) provides general guidance on exposure, drainage, and watering.
## Maintenance
Harvest stems as the colorful combs reach the desired size. Remove spent flower heads if you want to limit reseeding, and check container plants more often during hot, dry weather. The breeder’s greenhouse production schedule is not a guarantee of outdoor bloom timing; local temperatures and day length affect flowering.
