The supplier lists flowering from mid-spring through summer into fall, and notes that its plumes resist fading in heat. A sunny position helps keep the stems sturdy and the mixed display vivid. ## Growing Conditions Allow roughly 14–18 inches of height and 10–14 inches of width, allowing for the different regional width listings. Syngenta recommends sun and describes the plant as heat tolerant; it is sold as an annual. ## Maintenance Protect the display from frost and water containers regularly during warm weather. Remove spent flower stems when you want to keep the planting tidy; leave some plumes in place if you prefer their texture late in the season.
