About Sunday™ Mixture Celosia

Sunday™ Mixture combines plume celosia colors including dark pink, orange, bright pink, cherry, purple, and gold. PanAmerican Seed lists it as an upright cut-flower selection at 28–40 inches tall and about 5 inches wide, with full plumes and long stems for bouquets. ## Landscape use Plant the mixture in a cutting bed, greenhouse, or high tunnel for a varied supply of bouquet stems. The breeder identifies the Sunday series for filler, line, or volume in arrangements. Mississippi State Extension describes the series as a textural addition to mixed bouquets and an eye-catching backyard cut flower. ## Flowers and season The mixture contains several named colors rather than a single flower shade. PanAmerican Seed lists bloom from spring through autumn, so plants can contribute color over a long warm season. ## Siting and culture Grow in full sun and well-drained soil. Maryland Extension recommends a rich, deep loamy field bed with at least eight hours of sunlight for cut-flower celosia. Keep the planting evenly watered as stems develop; warm conditions suit this heat-tolerant series. ## Maintenance Plant outdoors after frost danger has passed. Cut stems when plumes are fully developed for fresh arrangements. Celosia also dries well: remove leaves and hang stems in a dark, ventilated area.
