About Kosmo Pink Celosia

Kosmo Pink is a compact wheat celosia selected for soft pink flower spikes and a tidy upright form. PanAmerican Seed lists the Kosmo series at about 8 inches tall and 8–10 inches wide, with a central stem and several side spikes, making it suitable for small pots and sunny garden spaces. ## Form and season The [RHS cultivar profile](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/295073/celosia-argentea-spicata-group-kosmo-pink/details) describes dense, branched spikes of soft pink flowers from midsummer into early autumn. The [PanAmerican Seed catalog](https://www.panamseed.com/documents/catalogs/16486_PASKieft_2019_Catalog_Final_LR.pdf) names Kosmo Pink and gives the series size and growth habit. The live scientific-name string also includes “Celkopi”; available sources verify the Kosmo Pink selection but do not resolve that additional name, so it is retained unchanged. ## Siting Grow in sun in a warm-season bed or container. The breeder describes the series as genetically dwarf and reports that it needs no pinching or plant growth regulators. ## Maintenance Keep soil evenly moist while plants establish, then water when the surface begins to dry. Remove spent spikes if a neater appearance is wanted; routine pinching is not needed for the compact form.
