Kosmo Yellow Celosia

Kosmo Yellow is a compact, upright wheat celosia grown for seasonal flower spikes. PanAmerican Seed lists this selection at about 8 inches tall and 8–10 inches wide, with flowering from late spring through summer and late summer. ## Form and season The [PanAmerican Seed product page](https://www.panamseed.com/products/014503064006060/celosia-kosmo-yellow/) identifies Kosmo Yellow as Celosia spicata, lists its upright habit and sun exposure, and gives its height and spread. The [current breeder catalog](https://catalog.panamseed.com/view/445948364/154/) describes Kosmo as a dwarf series with a main stem and multiple side spikes. Its compact proportions suit patio pots, mixed containers, and sunny seasonal beds. ## Siting Choose a sunny site with room for an 8–10-inch spread. The breeder notes that this series performs in pot and pack programs and does not need pinching. ## Maintenance Water regularly during active growth while ensuring the container drains well. Remove faded spikes if desired to keep the display tidy; routine pinching is not needed.
