This hardy, low-growing evergreen conifer forms a dense, spreading carpet of soft, fern-like foliage. Reaching only 12-15 inches tall but spreading up to 10 feet wide, it is an excellent groundcover for banks, rock gardens, and borders. Its bright green summer needles transition to a striking bronze-purple in winter. Highly disease-resistant and deer-tolerant, it thrives in well-drained soils across full sun to full shade, making it a versatile choice for tough landscapes.
