Sugar Rush™ Formula Mix Cheiranthus

Sugar Rush™ Formula Mix is an upright F1 wallflower from Syngenta, bred to flower through the cool shoulder seasons. The compact plants carry fragrant blooms and are offered as a mixed color selection for spring and fall displays. ## Seasonal display Syngenta’s [Formula Mix profile](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70059652) identifies product 70059652 as *Cheiranthus cheiri*, an F1 seed-grown wallflower with repeat flowering, sweet fragrance, and a color range suited to fall and spring. The breeder lists full sun, early and late spring plus fall flowering, an upright habit, and a garden size of 8–10 inches tall and wide. Kew accepts the wallflower hybrid as *Erysimum × cheiri* and lists *Cheiranthus × cheiri* among its synonyms. The scientific name keeps the exact Sugar Rush™ Formula Mix product identity and code alongside the accepted botanical combination. ## Placement Use this compact mix in seasonal borders, containers, and bedding schemes. The breeder reports flowering from a summer sowing in as little as nine weeks and says the crop does not require vernalization. Its listed hardiness range is USDA-style 9a–11a; treat it as a seasonal crop outside suitable mild climates. ## Maintenance Plant in full sun and well-drained soil, keep evenly watered during establishment, and avoid waterlogging. Remove spent flowers if tidiness is important. Confirm the color mix from the seed lot or supplier before designing a coordinated palette, since the product is sold as a color variety rather than a single flower color.
