Clusters of fragrant draping white flowers are abundant in late spring to early summer. Occasional clusters of olive-like fruits turn a bluish-black in fall and are a favorite for birds and other wildlife. Large spear shaped leaves turn yellow in the fall. Tolerates clay soil but will not tolerate prolonged dry soil. Makes a beautiful specimen or screen.
