About Grandview™ Yellow Chrysanthemum

Grandview™ Yellow is Syngenta’s yellow-and-gold selection in its pot mum family. The breeder lists medium vigor, full sun, small or medium pots, and flowering from early spring through winter; its hardiness zone is listed as not available, so the seasonal production window should not be read as a promise of outdoor overwintering. See the [exact product record](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70101768) and [pot mum catalog](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/sites/g/files/kgtney2381/files/media/document/2025/05/19/sf-16827-potted-plants-catalog-digital-300dpi-2023-06-19.pdf). ## Flowers and display This variety carries yellow/gold daisy flowers. Syngenta describes Grandview as a year-round production family with medium vigor and medium-to-large flowers, suited to spring combinations as well as fall retail displays. ## Growing conditions Place the pot in full sun and use a small or medium container appropriate to the plant. Kew recognizes *Chrysanthemum indicum* as an accepted species in Asteraceae ([POWO taxonomy](https://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:193510-1)). ## Maintenance Check container mix regularly. [Iowa State Extension](https://yardandgarden.extension.iastate.edu/how-to/care-plants-growing-containers) recommends watering when mix is dry 1–2 inches below the surface, then watering through the drainage holes. Remove spent flowers as they fade.
