Jamestown™ Regal Purple Chrysanthemum

Jamestown™ Regal Purple is a branded pot chrysanthemum with purple decorative-form flowers. Syngenta’s 2026 pot mum catalog lists medium-to-small flowers, short plant vigor, and an 8-week production response for product 70018712. ## Flowers and form The purple color creates a rich accent in a container display, while the decorative flower form differs from the open daisy types in the same catalog. The medium-to-small flower size and short-vigor rating are breeder production descriptors for this pot selection; they are not mature garden dimensions. ## Container display Jamestown™ Regal Purple is listed in the commercial pot mum assortment. Its product entry does not state outdoor hardiness or mature landscape size. General [RHS chrysanthemum guidance](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/chrysanthemum/growing-guide) favors sun, shelter, and fertile, well-drained growing conditions for chrysanthemums. ## Maintenance Water container plants regularly during active growth and keep excess water draining away from the roots. Remove faded flowers to tidy the display. Container chrysanthemums are vulnerable to cold; the RHS recommends moving containers to frost-free shelter after flowering if they are being kept over winter.
