About Manhattan™ Yellow Chrysanthemum

Manhattan™ Yellow is a yellow-flowering Chrysanthemum indicum in Syngenta’s Manhattan pot-mum series. The breeder lists mid-spring flowering, full sun, and small to medium recommended pot sizes. ## Color and use The flower color is yellow to gold. Grow Manhattan Yellow in a container or use it in a bright seasonal display where its spring flowers can be enjoyed up close. ## Growing conditions Site the pot in full sun and use a free-draining potting mix in a container with drainage holes. Water the soil around the roots and check moisture often after potting and during warm weather. General mum-care guidance recommends frequent watering for newly potted plants and about an inch weekly once established, adjusted for local weather and container conditions. ## Maintenance Remove spent flowers to keep the plant neat and extend the display. Syngenta gives a hardiness range of zones 9a–11a and recommends small or medium pots; in colder areas, grow it as a seasonal container plant.
