Mount® Aubisque Purple Chrysanthemum

Mount® Aubisque Purple is a decorative pot chrysanthemum in the Mount® collection, selected for its purple flowers. [Royal Van Zanten lists the exact selection as a purple pot chrysanthemum](https://www.royalvanzanten.com/en/products/potted-plants/pot-chrysant-en/mount-aubisque-purple-2/), matching the cultivar name and product identity in this catalog. ## Placement and Use Display it in a patio pot, planter, or bright indoor position where its flowers can be enjoyed up close. Use a container with drainage holes and fresh potting mix; the breeder lists this selection for both 9 cm and larger pots, reflecting commercial production sizes rather than a required home container size. ## Watering Container mix dries at different rates with weather, pot material, and placement. Feel the mix regularly; when the top inch is dry, water thoroughly until excess drains, and do not leave the roots standing in water. [Illinois Extension explains container watering and drainage](https://extension.illinois.edu/container-gardens/watering). ## Maintenance Check moisture often while the plant is actively flowering, and remove faded flowers to keep the display tidy. Protect the pot from drying completely, and adjust watering to the conditions around it.
