About Jacqueline™ Orange Fusion Chrysanthemum

Jacqueline™ Orange Fusion is a Syngenta Chrysanthemum morifolium in the Jacqueline family, with orange-toned flowers and the series’ rounded habit. Syngenta lists it as a fall-flowering garden mum and gives a garden height of 30–40 cm and width of 30–35 cm. ## Landscape Use Use it in a fall border or seasonal container where its warm flower color can complement yellow, bronze, or burgundy plantings. Syngenta describes Jacqueline varieties as suitable for pots and combination displays, while the [NC State Extension profile](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/chrysanthemum-x-morifolium/common-name/mum/) also recommends garden mums for borders, mass planting, and cut-flower gardens. ## Siting and Size The breeder lists sun/shade exposure; for dependable flowering, choose a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil. Its published garden dimensions are about 12–16 inches tall and 12–14 inches wide. Provide room for air circulation and avoid waterlogged ground. ## Maintenance Keep soil moist during active growth and water when it becomes dry. Pinch young shoots early in the growing season to promote a fuller mound, stopping by mid-summer so flower buds can develop. Remove spent blooms and monitor for aphids, mites, rust, leaf spots, and powdery mildew. See [Virginia Cooperative Extension’s garden-mum guide](https://www.pubs.ext.vt.edu/content/pubs_ext_vt_edu/en/426/426-016/426-016.html) for seasonal care.
