Create design onlineAbout Jacqueline™ Yellow Chrysanthemum
Jacqueline™ Yellow is a yellow-flowered selection in Syngenta’s Jacqueline garden-mum series, product 70038574. It flowers in fall and forms a compact, rounded plant for seasonal containers and sunny borders.
## Flowers and placement
Syngenta lists Jacqueline Yellow as a potted Chrysanthemum morifolium with a garden height of about 30–40 cm and width of 30–35 cm. The Jacqueline family is offered in small through large pots, making this selection useful beside an entry or patio as well as in a front-of-border planting. Its yellow blooms pair readily with other autumn colors.
## Growing conditions
Choose full sun and soil that drains well. Containers need drainage holes and regular checks during warm or windy weather, since pots dry faster than garden beds. NC State Extension recommends garden mums for borders and containers and describes their flowering as autumnal. In a garden bed, pinching growing tips in spring and early summer can help create a bushier plant; complete the final pinch by about mid-August.

## Maintenance
Water when the soil begins to dry, keeping container plants evenly supplied without leaving roots in standing water. Remove faded flower heads for a tidy appearance, and cut back old stems after flowering.
