EasyPeel Clementine is a compact citrus grown for easy-to-peel fruit and spring flowers with a jasmine-like fragrance. The exact seller describes a mature tree about 8 feet tall and 4 to 6 feet wide, with fruit developing over summer and ripening around December.
## Fruit and growing form
The [EasyPeel guide](https://www.usbrighterblooms.com/easypeel-clementine-tree/) describes the tree as suitable for patios, containers, and indoor growing, and reports that it is self-fertile. UC Riverside's [Citrus Variety Collection](https://citrusvariety.ucr.edu/crc0279) documents Citrus clementina and notes that pollination can affect seed development.
## Siting and watering
Give the tree strong light and well-drained citrus potting mix. If winter temperatures stay below 40 F, keep it in a container and move it under cover. Let the top 2 to 3 inches of soil dry between waterings, then water thoroughly and drain excess. Indoor flowers may need hand pollination for reliable fruit set.
## Maintenance
Feed with citrus fertilizer in spring and summer, following the label. After fruiting, remove dead wood and suckers from the base and thin crowded branches to improve airflow. Preserve the compact canopy with selective pruning.
