Yellow Latern Clematis

Lantern-like bright yellow flowers start facing downward but slowly flatten as the open. Blooms from June until October and occasionally has decorative seed pods. This unique clematis has an aroma reminiscent of coconut. Works well as a screen, on pergolas, fences, arbors, trellises or walls. This variety is best pruned in late winter if needed. Clematis prefer full sun on their leaves and shade over their roots.
