Pink Blooming Montana or Anemone Clematis

Foliage opens burgundy and matures to bronze-green. Fragrant pink flowers overwhelm this plant from late spring to early summer. Tolerates alkaline and clay soil as well as sandy. Climbs pergolas, trellises, arbors, fences or walls without damage. Do not prune in fall or winter as this will remove spring flower buds. Clematis prefer full sun on their leaves and shade on their roots.
