About Sea Grape Bush

Coccoloba uvifera is a versatile, multi-stemmed evergreen tree or large shrub reaching up to 30 feet. It features distinctive, large, leathery circular leaves with striking red veins that emerge bronze and mature to deep green. Highly salt and wind-tolerant, it thrives in full sun and sandy soils, making it an essential dune stabilizer. Its edible, grape-like fruit clusters are used for jellies and wine, while its dense growth habit provides excellent privacy screening and shade.
