FlameThrower™ 'Serrano' PP30970 Coleus

FlameThrower™ Serrano is a bicolor foliage coleus whose bright yellow accents contrast with red leaves. Its medium, upright-mounded form suits small pots and mixed containers. ## Foliage and size The [Ball FloraPlant product page](https://www.ballfloraplant.com/Products/Details/?phid=018006557005010) identifies Serrano as UF15-6-28 and PP30,970, describes yellow as the primary color accent, and lists 12–18 inches of height, 16–18 inches of spread, and shade or sun exposure. The patent record for [UF15-6-28](https://uspto.report/patent/grant/PP30%2C970) describes red leaf centers with yellow margins on immature leaves and bright red centers with chartreuse margins on mature leaves. The numeric dimensions remain unassigned because the sources provide ranges rather than a single mature point. ## Placement Use the patterned foliage as an accent in small pots or mixed containers. [UF/IFAS](https://gardeningsolutions.ifas.ufl.edu/plants/ornamentals/coleus/) advises checking cultivar-specific light needs; coleus selections can vary in sun tolerance. ## Maintenance Plant in well-drained soil enriched with organic matter and keep it lightly moist. Check container moisture regularly, especially during hot weather.
