About FlameThrower™ 'Sriracha' PP32342 Coleus

FlameThrower™ Sriracha is an upright coleus with dark red leaves edged in lime green. Its compact size and bold foliage make it suited to small pots and mixed containers. ## Foliage and Form Sriracha is the trade name for the patented cultivar ‘Balflamsira’. The patent describes an upright plant with dark greyed-red and deep yellow-green foliage; it records no flower development in the trial plants. Ball FloraPlant lists a mature height of 12–18 inches and spread of 16–18 inches. Coleus generally grows best in well-drained soil enriched with organic matter and kept lightly moist. Select the site for local light and heat, since leaf color and growth can shift with conditions. [UF/IFAS Coleus Care](https://gardeningsolutions.ifas.ufl.edu/plants/ornamentals/coleus/) ## Maintenance The breeder lists no routine pinch as needed for production. Trim stray stems only to maintain the desired outline, and avoid crowding plants so air can move around the foliage.
