Kong® 'Lime Sprite' Coleus

Kong® ‘Lime Sprite’ is a large-leaved, mounded coleus selected for shade containers, mixed plantings, and landscape color. Its branching habit and striking leaf patterns give a broad foliage accent, while the cultivar can show a rose-colored midrib in deep shade. ## Foliage and form PanAmerican Seed lists this selection at 18–20 inches tall and 15–18 inches wide. The Kong series is also recommended for indoor plant programs. ## Light and placement Full shade gives the best performance; partial sun is also listed. Coleus foliage can bleach or wilt in strong sun when a cultivar is not suited to it. For garden beds or pots, choose a well-drained site and protect the plant from frost. ## Maintenance Water at planting and keep the root ball moist as the plant establishes, without leaving it in soggy soil.
