Scarlet Ibis is a dwarf coleus with narrow, fingered red leaves edged in green to gold. It forms a tight, upright mound about 13 inches tall and 12 inches wide, suited to small containers and close-view plantings.
## Garden Use
Place Scarlet Ibis in a small pot, mixed container, or summer border where its fine leaf shape can contrast with larger foliage. Its compact scale also fits rock and fairy gardens, uses noted by the breeder.
## Growing Conditions
TERRA NOVA lists part shade to full shade and USDA zones 10–11. It prefers well-drained soil with moderate organic matter and average water. Coleus is frost tender, so outside warm climates it is usually grown as a seasonal annual or moved indoors before cold weather.
## Maintenance
The breeder says this selection does not need pinching or growth regulators in production. Remove flower spikes if they appear and you want to maintain a foliage-focused display.
