Solanna™ Bright Touch Coreopsis grandiflora

Solanna™ Bright Touch is a golden-yellow Coreopsis grandiflora with red, bred for a prolonged spring-to-fall flowering display. [Danziger lists it as](https://www.danzigeronline.com/catalog/perennials_catalog/solanna-bright-touch/) a first-year flowering, self-cleaning selection suited to both pots and landscape plantings. ## Flowers and growth [The breeder describes Bright Touch](https://www.danzigeronline.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Coreopsis-Solanna-2026.pdf) flowers as dark yellow and red, medium-sized, and single, with a mounded habit. Its current product profile lists 35–40 cm in height and 50–55 cm in width, USDA zones 5–10, and a pollinator-friendly designation. The Solanna series is well branched and flowers over a prolonged period from spring to fall. ## Siting Use it in full sun, where its mounded form can fill a container or sunny border. The breeder’s pot and landscape recommendations support both uses; allow room for the listed mature spread and use a well-drained growing medium. ## Maintenance Danziger describes the series as self-cleaning, so routine deadheading is optional for appearance. Remove damaged foliage as needed and follow local watering conditions while the plant establishes.
