Solanna™ Golden Sphere Coreopsis grandiflora

Solanna Golden Sphere is a compact Coreopsis grandiflora selection with rounded, fully double yellow flowers and a tidy mound of green foliage. Its self-cleaning flowers extend the sunny display from summer toward fall. ## Flowers and placement The [Danziger cultivar page](https://www.danzigeronline.com/catalog/perennials_catalog/solanna-golden-sphere/) describes large double yellow blooms and a prolonged spring-to-fall season. Mature measurements differ: Danziger lists 14–16 inches high by 20–22 inches wide, while [Perennials.com](https://www.perennials.com/plants/coreopsis-grandiflora-solanna-golden-sphere.html) lists 10–12 inches in both directions; the existing height is retained within that published variation, while width is left unresolved. The latter source also records ‘Golden Ball’ as a synonym and supports full sun, zones 4–9, and border, container, or cut-flower use. ## Maintenance The breeder describes this selection as self-cleaning. Give it full sun and well-drained soil, and water during extended dry periods.
