Solanna™ Sunset Bright Coreopsis grandiflora

Solanna Sunset Bright is a compact Coreopsis grandiflora selection with single golden-yellow flowers and a red eye. It branches freely and flowers over an extended season in warm garden conditions. ## Flowers and placement [Danziger](https://www.danzigeronline.com/catalog/perennials_catalog/solanna-sunset-bright/) lists a mounded habit, spring-to-fall flowering, and a mature range of 14–16 inches high by 20–22 inches wide. The [JC Raulston Arboretum trial](https://jcra.ncsu.edu/publications/trial-reports/perennials-trials/2023-2024/index.php) measured smaller plants at 9.5 inches high and 13 inches wide in one garden; a later trial recorded about 11 by 17 inches. The existing dimensions fit the trial observations, so the labels show the documented range of site and breeder results. ## Maintenance The breeder describes the flowers as self-cleaning. Site in full sun and well-drained soil; the trial found the selection heat tolerant and attractive to bees and other pollinators.
