Leading Lady™ Lauren Tickseed

Leading Lady™ Lauren is a named tickseed in Dümmen Orange’s Leading Lady series, valued for its yellow flowers and small mounding habit. The cultivar name is preserved in the botanical record as Coreopsis ‘Leading Lady Lauren’. ## Features The 2015–16 JC Raulston Arboretum trial records Lauren as a Dümmen Orange selection that formed a small mound, with clear-yellow flowers from June through the end of October. [JC Raulston Arboretum trial report](https://jcra.ncsu.edu/publications/trial-reports/perennials-trials/2015-2016/index.php) A young-plant catalog identifies the cultivar by name and describes two layers of ruffled bright-yellow petals around a golden center; flower form descriptions differ from the arboretum’s trial observation, so this profile focuses on the consistently supported color and habit. The existing mature-size labels remain unchanged. ## Maintenance Remove spent flowers when desired and trim lightly to keep the mound tidy.
