About Creme de Mint™ Dogwood

Creme de Mint™ is the trade name for Cornus alba ‘Crmizam’, a compact variegated dogwood. Mint-green leaves have creamy white margins and can blush pink or red in fall; the stems turn chartreuse for winter interest. White flower clusters appear from late spring into summer. ([University of Minnesota UFOR Nursery](https://trees.umn.edu/creme-de-mint%E2%84%A2-dogwood-cornus-alba-crmizam); [Monrovia](https://www.monrovia.com/creme-de-mint-dogwood.html)) ## Landscape Use Use this rounded shrub in borders, hedges, or mass plantings. Its foliage is brightest in sun, while the chartreuse stems provide color after leaf fall. University of Minnesota lists use in very wet areas; Monrovia also notes tolerance of wet soils and urban pollution. ## Growing Conditions Plant in full sun to part shade in moist, well-drained soil. Keep the root zone evenly moist during establishment, then water as conditions require. Published mature sizes are about 4–5 ft. tall and wide, with one horticultural reference describing a compact plant to 1.4 m. The supported range fits the existing 4–5 ft. labels; the numeric dimensions are updated to 1.4 m.
