Purple Stemmed Dogwood

Multi-stemmed deciduous shrub noted for its striking shiny, deep purple-black stems in winter. Flat topped clusters of creamy white flowers appear in late spring. Late spring flowers are not showy but attract butterflies and other pollinators. Clusters of white berries are an excellent source of food for birds. Mid to dark green leaves turn red and purple in fall.
