Cardinal Red Twig Dogwood

Rapid growing cultivar of Cornus sericea. This cultivar has a loose, rounded, spreading habit. Stems are deeper red at the base with the tips fading to a vibrant near-orange. Stems are brighter compared to other Red Twig cultivars and tend to stand out more in a winter landscape. Appears to be less susceptible to winter die back than even some of the most cold hardy cultivars.
