Farrow Arctic Fire® Red Dogwood

Arctic Fire® Red is a compact red-twig dogwood selected for vivid red stems that brighten the landscape through winter. Tiny white flowers appear in spring and support pollinators, while the shrub’s mature size is about 3–5 feet tall and wide. The white spring flowers are small, so the plant is grown chiefly for its colorful stems and compact form. It is listed for USDA zones 2–7 and performs in full sun or part sun. ## Growing Conditions The breeder says the shrub does best in moist or wet soil and tolerates drier conditions after establishment. It can be used in mass plantings, hedges, rain gardens, or cutting gardens.
