## Garden use
Use this seasonal flowering annual in sunny borders, containers, or grouped plantings for a light pink color note. Cosmos bipinnatus has an airy, finely divided foliage texture that pairs well with fuller-leaved plants. The species is grown as an annual and blooms over an extended warm-season period. ## Growing conditions
Provide a sunny site with moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Water through extended dry spells, especially as plants establish. Mature size and exposure details vary among Apollo selections, so allow room according to local growing conditions rather than assuming a series-wide dimension.
## Maintenance
Deadhead faded flowers to encourage continued bloom. Water at the root zone during hot, dry weather and remove spent plants after flowering. Leave a few flowers to mature if seed collection is desired.
