Sonata™ Complete Mixture Cosmos

Sonata™ Complete Mixture brings several flower colors together in the compact, upright Sonata cosmos series. PanAmerican Seed describes the mix as spanning the Cosmos bipinnatus color range, including Purple Shades and Red Shades, and lists the series at about 24 inches tall by 12–14 inches wide. [PanAmerican Seed’s Complete Mixture profile](https://www.panamseed.com/products/019501382008635/cosmos-sonata-complete-mixture/) confirms the named Cosmos bipinnatus mix, upright habit, size, full-sun exposure and supplier bloom schedule. The [current PanAmerican catalog](https://catalog.panamseed.com/view/445948364/44/) explains that the mix includes Purple Shades and Red Shades within its broader color range. For general cosmos growing guidance, the [RHS profile](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/376990/cosmos-pas1786/details) describes full sun, moist but well-drained soil and deadheading. ## Garden Use Use the mixture in sunny borders, patio pots or repeated groups for a varied display within the Sonata series’ compact scale. The flowers are also suitable for informal cutting. ## Growing Conditions Choose full sun and moist, well-drained, moderately fertile soil. The supplier’s profile gives crop-season timing and recommends compact containers; garden flowering can continue later under local conditions. ## Maintenance Water during dry spells while keeping the soil free-draining. Remove spent flower heads as needed to keep the display tidy, and cut stems when blooms open for arrangements.
