Sonata™ Pink Blush is a compact, sturdy annual cosmos with white flowers edged in rose pink and centered in yellow. PanAmerican Seed lists it at about 24 inches tall and 12–14 inches wide; the RHS profile describes flowering from July into October. [PanAmerican Seed’s product profile](https://www.panamseed.com/products/019501382004061/cosmos-sonata-pink-blush/) confirms PAS1788, upright habit, size, sun exposure and supplier bloom timing. [The RHS profile](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/163393/cosmos-bipinnatus-sonata-pink-blush-pas1788-sonata-series/details) describes white flowers edged in rose pink with yellow centers, flowering into autumn, and notes the selection’s value to pollinating insects. ## Garden Use The upright, compact plant fits sunny annual borders, patio containers and cut-flower plantings. Its two-tone petals add a soft accent to mixed pink and white displays, while the open flower centers provide access for visiting insects. ## Growing Conditions Grow in full sun in moist, well-drained soil with moderate fertility. The supplier recommends compact containers, while the RHS also lists annual and cut-flower borders as suitable settings. ## Maintenance Water during dry spells while allowing excess water to drain. Remove spent flowers to prolong the display, as the RHS recommends for this selection. Cut stems as blooms open for bouquets.
