Crocosmia NOVA 'Gold Dust'

Crocosmia NOVA® ‘Gold Dust’ is a compact, upright selection with yellow flowers above green foliage. Terra Nova lists a 16-inch plant height and 12-inch width, with flower stems reaching 24 inches. This distinction helps when planning a container or a small sunny border: the foliage clump stays compact while the flowers rise above it. ## Growing Conditions Grow in full sun and average, well-drained soil kept evenly moist. Terra Nova lists USDA zones 7–9, summer flowering from June through August, and a deciduous habit. Its compact scale and bright flower stems suit a container or the front of a sunny mixed planting. ## Maintenance Water regularly while roots establish and during long dry periods. After flowering, remove spent stems if preferred, then leave healthy foliage in place until it declines naturally. Protect corms in areas with winters colder than the listed range, following local practice.
