Create design onlineAbout Fairy Dust Pink cuphea
Fairy Dust® Pink is a compact cuphea selection covered with small, light-pink flowers on airy, branching stems. Proven Winners lists it for 10–16 inches of mature height and spring-to-fall garden color, making it a useful low layer in seasonal combinations.
## Flowers and placement
The Proven Winners cultivar sheet describes the tiny pink flowers as filling open spaces in combination planters and garden plantings. Its listed height is 10–16 inches; a separate Proven Winners catalog gives a 12–18 inch spread. The breeder identifies the selection as Cuphea ramosissima ‘PAS1303307’; it is also sold under the Fairy Dust Pink trade name.
## Growing conditions
The breeder lists USDA zones 10–11 and part sun to full sun. Use a well-drained container mix and avoid keeping the roots saturated. This selection is suited to mixed pots and seasonal beds where its fine stems can soften gaps between larger plants.
## Maintenance
Proven Winners advises avoiding excess water early in production and not letting plants wilt. Pinch after transplant only if a fuller outline is needed.
