Eco™ Purple Cyclamen

Eco™ Purple is a seed-raised Cyclamen persicum selection for cool-season color in a pot or sheltered garden display. The Syngenta Americas brochure lists Eco Purple with code 70067460 and shows the series’ compact 11–13 inch mature dimensions ([Syngenta Eco brochure](https://online.flippingbook.com/view/1042432555)). Cyclamen persicum belongs to the Primulaceae family ([Kew Plants of the World Online](https://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/700765-1)). ## Seasonal Interest Syngenta describes Eco cyclamen for flowering from early spring into winter, with listed periods in early and mid-spring, fall, and winter. Rounded leaves and upward-facing flowers make it a seasonal focal point in containers or grouped with cool-weather color. Mature plants measure about 11–13 inches in both height and width. ## Siting and Water Provide part shade or filtered light and a free-draining potting medium. Water as the medium begins to dry and avoid standing water around the root area. Follow local seasonal temperatures when planning outdoor placement. ## Maintenance Remove faded flowers and yellowing leaves at their base. Reduce watering as flowering slows and allow the plant its natural rest period rather than forcing continuous growth. Resume regular watering when fresh growth appears.
