About Laser™ Synchro Purple Cyclamen

Laser™ Synchro Purple is the purple/lavender/violet F1 Cyclamen persicum selection, Syngenta code 70019005. Syngenta lists it in the intermediate Laser series with a mounding 10–12-inch form and synchronized flowering. [Syngenta Flowers](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70019005) ## Features and placement The product page lists full shade to part shade, a 10–12-inch garden width, and flowering in early, middle, and late spring, fall, and winter. Its saturated purple-lavender blooms suit a compact pot or cool-season display. Kew accepts Cyclamen persicum in the Primulaceae family; the purple color selection remains distinct from the pink, white, and mixed-color Laser entries. [Kew Science](https://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:700765-1/general-information) ## Care Indoors, place the pot in bright indirect light and keep it cool. Use rich, well-drained potting mix, and water when the soil surface begins to dry. Direct water to the edge or base of the pot rather than the crown, because excess moisture around the tuber can cause rot. [NC State Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/cyclamen-persicum/) ## Maintenance Remove spent flowers to encourage continued bloom. As summer dormancy begins and foliage yellows, reduce watering and let the tuber rest; resume regular moisture when growth returns in fall. Protect the plant from freezing weather and avoid keeping the pot wet during dormancy.
